Teaching social action on the Leicester clinical course

As part of this year’s social action teaching day, the teaching facilitators along with enthusiastic Trainee Clinical Psychologists took part in a sponsored dig. The day involved getting our wellies on to attend the farm location of the Growing Project, run by The Braunstone Foundation. Here, along with the project volunteers, we spent a good part of the day preparing undug soil ready for planting potatoes. We are looking to continue our support by raising money for the Growing Project to purchase a composting toilet which will be valuable to the volunteers and we hope having onsite toilet facilities will aid to increase the scope of the project.
